Amateur athletics benefits the community as a whole, strengthening community and social ties. Like most organizations, Langley Rep Fastpitch relies on dedicated volunteers in order to offer the very best programs possible. All of our participants are required to provide a minimum of 4 volunteer hours to aid in the success of our programs.  sign up for volunteer hours is done during registration, through the automated registration system.

If you are able to commit to more, or are looking to offer a unique service that we hadn’t thought of, please contact us as [email protected]

For some roles we will need a RCMP criminal record check completed. If you are planning on coaching, managing or being the treasurer on a team, please follow this link and complete the form as soon as possible.  https://justice.gov.bc.ca/eCRC/  . Please use access code: W7NK7CAUF4

Please seel below for some of the options available:

Please select this option if you are currently on the team’s coaching staff. This requires a completed criminal record check. Please use the link and code above.

Please select this option if you are the current team manager. Only 1 per team. This requires a completed criminal record check. Please use the link and code above.

Please select this option if your daughter would like to help out with our younger age groups by participating in clinics, practices, Opening Day or Year-End activities, plus more.

Please select this option if you are a current board member.

Please select this option if you would like to help in the concession stand. Its our job to keep those ball players fed and watered as they work through the tournaments this season.

Please select this option if you would like to assist with the planning of one of our Invitational or Provincial bids.

Please select this option ONLY if you have a minimum of a Level 1 first-aid ticket.   You will be on-site during a tournament to administer first-aid where required.

Please select this option if you would like to be called to help with miscellaneous jobs as they come up, including putting up fencing, constructing shelving, cleaning out cages or dug-outs, plus more.

We understand that volunteering isn’t for everyone, or your work schedule might make helping out next to impossible. We offer an option to cash that volunteer cheque, with no questions asked instead of completing volunteer work for both team and league work. In addition to a ‘league role’ as listed above, the team also needs your help.

Help us keep our tournaments running smoothly. Your 4 hour shift could include setting up fences, prepping fields, running equipment to games, and anything else that our tournament director requires. Shifts will be determined at a later date.

Below are a few notes about the Volunteer program

  1. You are responsible for making sure you complete your volunteer shift and are aware of when it is.
  2. We will not be sending reminder emails.
  3. We know that life happens, and plans change, so you may need to change your shift. This needs to be done with at least 48-hours notice of your shift so we have time to make sure our event is not impacted.
  4. If you do not show up for your scheduled shift, we will process your deposit immediately.
