We understand that volunteering isn’t for everyone, or your work schedule might make helping out next to impossible. We offer an option to cash that volunteer cheque, with no questions asked instead of completing volunteer work for both team and league work. In addition to a ‘league role’ as listed above, the team also needs your help.
Help us keep our tournaments running smoothly. Your 4 hour shift could include setting up fences, prepping fields, running equipment to games, and anything else that our tournament director requires. Shifts will be determined at a later date.
Below are a few notes about the Volunteer program
- You are responsible for making sure you complete your volunteer shift and are aware of when it is.
- We will not be sending reminder emails.
- We know that life happens, and plans change, so you may need to change your shift. This needs to be done with at least 48-hours notice of your shift so we have time to make sure our event is not impacted.
- If you do not show up for your scheduled shift, we will process your deposit immediately.
Everyone is required to submit a Volunteer Deposit Cheque; either made payable to NLDS or LFA, depending on your registering Association.
All cheques are to be for $150.
For LFA players, they are to be dated for April 30th of the current year.
For NLDS players, they are to be dated for June 30th of the current year.
